Marriage Matters

Marriage Matters exists to glorify God by honoring and strengthening the marriages and families of First Baptist Jonesboro, our associated congregations, and our community.

We seek to offer programs, Bible study, discipleship series, events and retreats that are designed to strengthen marriages and develop  supportive relationships. Whether you’ve been married for years, or are newly married, you will learn how to apply God’s Word to help you and your spouse build your marriage to weather life’s storms and be a shining example to others of God’s love.

Marriage is honorable among all...Hebrews 13:4

Two nationally recognized marriage training seminars are  combining efforts to come to First Baptist on October 15-16.  This can be a great opportunity to bring hope and harmony to couples in South Metro.

If you are interested in being trained to help married couples who are going through crisis, please call the Church office 770.478.6710 or Mimi Holland 770.478.4472. The cost is $25.00 for an individual, $40.00 for a couple.

Marriage Matters of FBCJ in partnership with Clayton County Marriage & Family is sponsoring this training which is recommended by Marriage Commission, Association of Marriage and Family Ministries, and National Institute of Marriage
