The purpose of the Recreation Ministry is to make Christ known through positive recreation and to glorify God by ministering to our church, community and the world. We offer various Sports’ Camps each summer, as well as a Basketball League and a Volleyball League for children and students each year. (Check below for specific details on each.) In addition, we are open five days a week to offer adults a complete workout; see daily operating hours below. The ROC is equipped with a weight room, cardio room and a walking track in each of its two gyms. Membership and access is FREE to all! Come and join today!

Summer Sports Camps
Registration is in May of every year.
Camps are held in June or July each year.
Camps offered: Basketball (boys and girls, ages 5-13) and Volleyball (girls, ages 7-17)
Cost is $50 per player for the week (3 hours each day), which includes a daily snack and a camp t-shirt
Classes are held every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:15 am until 10:15 am. The cost is only 50 cents per class. All adults are welcomed.
The cardio room is one of the most utilized parts of the facility. We offer 2 treadmills, 2 steppers, 2 elliptical machines, and 2 recumbent bikes. There are also 2 overhead televisions provided for viewing while using the equipment
Kickboxing and Sculpt Class
The kickboxing and sculpt class is held at the ROC on Mondays from 6:15 pm - 7:15 pm. This class is open to both men and women, ages 17 and older. Cost is only $1 per class. Instructor is Rakinah Fletcher.
Note: Beginning January 8, 2015, this class will meet in the Celebration Room of the ROC on Thursdays at 6:15 pm. On March 9 the class will return to the West Wing of the ROC.
For those looking for more than just a cardiovascular workout the weight room is the place to go. We have a small rack of dumb bells and 8 Nautilus machines.
Our game room is equipped with 9 video game stations (Xbox, Playstation 2 and Game Cube), an air hockey table, 1 foosball table, a ping pong table and a pool table (must be 21 or older to use pool table). We also have a break area where you can come, sit and enjoy a snack or soda.
We offer walking tracks in both our east and west gyms.
