Real Talk at the Cafe
October 13, 2015 | 6:30pm
All women are invited to Real Talk at the Cafe. Hear an amazing interview with Anna Lawrence the wife of Larry Lawrence, Associate Pastor to Students and Families, and teaching by Melody Allred. Doors open at 6pm; interview begins at 6:30pm. Coffee and desserts are offered for a small fee.

Date night for you and your spouse. Free childcare up to 8th grade.

Join the Choir & Orchestra
Rehearsals start back August 5th  | each Wednesday @ 6:45 pm

The Jonesboro Worship Choir and Orchestra welcomes new singers and musicians.

CHOIR: The choir welcomes everyone 18 years or older who loves Jesus, is passionate about leading worship, can commit to weekly rehearsals and services, and can carry a tune! Auditions not required for choir participation. Rehearsals are held at 6:45 pm in the Choir Room.
ORCHESTRA: Orchestra participation requires at least two years of experience on an instrument. Woodwinds, brass, strings and percussion are welcome. Rehearsals are held at 6:45 pm in the Worship Center.

Student Pastors One Day Conference
September 24
The 8th annual conference will be held on Thursday, Sept 24 from 10:30 am to 4:00 pm at the FBJ Fellowship Hall. Cost is $50 per person. Guest facilitators include Dave Paxton, Student Pastor @ FBC Orange Park, Florida, Chuck Allen, Senior Pastor @ Sugar Hill Church, Duluth, Georgia, and Roger Allen, Minister of Middle School & Student Missions @ FBCJonesboro, Jonesboro, Georgia.                                                                            Click Here to Register

3ON3 Basketball Tournament
October 17, 2015
The Connect 3 on 3 indoor basketball tournament is coming to Jonesboro. Cost for the team is $80.00 and you may register at CONNECT3ON3.COM.

Celebrator's Conference
October 19-22
The annual adult trip to the Celebrator’s Conference will be held October 19-22 in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Join us for worship and messages from David Jeremiah, Charles Billingsley, The Erwins, Ken Davis (comedy), The Annie Moses Band, Sandi Patti, Larnelle Harris, Wayne Watson, Phil Waldrep and The Brooklyn Tabernacle Singers. Cost for the conference and 3 nights lodging is $259 per person, double occupancy (only 35 rooms available). A $25 deposit is required at sign up. Transportation will be provided by chartered bus. Parenting Conference

Parenting your sons & daughters: essentials for the journey. This parenting conference teaches us that you don't need a cape or superhuman strength. You don't have to fly, save the day or take down a master villain. But in a world that looks for hero's, your child will be looking too. If you are willing to fight for truth, justice and the american way-as well as your child's heart-you might have what it takes. You can be an authentic HERO PARENT!  Registration is required by October 21. Lunch is available $5 for adults and $3 for kids. Women's Christmas Luncheon

"Bloom In Any Season" this year at our Women's Luncheon on Saturday, November 14. The speaker will be Cheryl Torain. Cheryl Torain is a resident of Baltimore, Maryland and is a widow with two daughters – Zena Cockrell and Tasha Scott.  She is a member of Genesis Bible Fellowship Church where she currently serves as the Director of the Women’s Ministry. 

 In October 1972, Cheryl received Jesus Christ as her personal Savior.  She has been teaching women for over 42 years.  In addition, she is an author of four books and has released four solo CD’s.  She has had the opportunity to sing to and teach women in West Africa, India, and Brazil.  She also served as the Women’s Ministry Leader for the Baltimore Franklin Graham Festival. 

 The purpose of her ministry is found in II Corinthians 5:9, “Therefore, I make it my aim, whether present or absent to be well pleasing to Him.”
