|New Tuesday Morning Discipleship Class
Begins March 11, 9 - 11 am
Idol Addiction. An idol is anything we turn toward to make life work apart from God, and we all have one (or more). Approval, family and career are among the host of false gods we look to for our security and satisfaction. Rather than freeing us, these idols drive us to anxiety, control, anger and countless other sins. In this DVD-based Bible study Julie Sparkman, founder of Restore Counseling Ministries in Birmingham, Alabama, helps ladies identify and confront their personal idols, and she shows them how to overcome them with the truths of the gospel. Each Tuesday morning starting March 11, from 9 to 11:00 am, Melody Allred and Brenda Jackson will facilitate this new class in Room 240. Childcare will be available. Call the church office at 770.478.6710 to enroll.
