New Bible Study Classes

These New Classes begin Sunday, January 8, 2012 at 9:30 am

SINGLE MOTHERS CLASS Chapel 241

When Jesus spoke, people listened. When Jesus traveled, people followed. When Jesus arrived, hearts and lives were transformed. The teachers for this new class will be Gloria Stallworth and Cindy Day. Together you will study the life of Jesus as you venture your way through the Gospel of John. This class is designed to assist single mothers with school-age children to find hope in God’s Word and new Christian friends who understand.

THRU THE BIBLE IN ONE YEAR Library

In this one-of-a-kind study you will learn how to analyze all 66 books of the Bible, which are the most significant chapters, where to find the central purpose, and which chief verses to memorize, all of which will prepare you to meet life’s daily challenges. See God’s Word from 35,000 feet as well as up close and personal. Hazel Clayton will be your teacher and your guide through this 52-week study.

SOLOMON’S PORCH Room 204

John’s gospel tells us “Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon’s Porch.” Dr. Luke records this about the early church, “they were all in one accord in Solomon’s Porch.” Each week Jim Dykes will lead this class to gather in one accord and to sit at the feet of the Savior to hear words of wisdom that can and will change lives. This class is open to adults of all ages.

YOUNG ADULTS CLASS Chapel 247

God has provided the perfect pattern for you to enjoy life at its very best through the countless principles found in His Word. Richard and Beth Lawless will be coming alongside of young couples during the “formative” years of their marriage as this class discovers together the principles from God’s Word that help couples go the distance. They will begin their study with a series called “30 Life Principles.”

COUPLES 35-45 CLASS Chapel 248

Life doesn’t have to be difficult or a constant struggle. It can be an exciting adventure, but it all begins with the study of God’s Word. This is where we learn about Him, His ways, and His awesome plan for our life. John and Amy Watkins will be leading this new class through a study of Dr. Charles Stanley’s “30 Life Principles.” Each class member will receive their own study guide to help enrich their personal devotional time.
